Dante started thinking about creating a zero waste business in 2019. Originally, they wanted to create a compost startup, but realized there are plenty of people in that space! So, Dante shifted to glass, and GRASS was born.
Over the last two years, Dante has experienced adventures and misadventures with getting GRASS off the ground. But with excellent advisors, great-but-stressing business accelerators, and friends, the cooperative found a first home in the 1100 Wicomico space in Pigtown, and held its first events in the fall of 2022.
